Therme Wien Proposal
Client: DMB / Wien Energie The concept of this project was to transform the staircase inside the Therme Wien to tell the story of the climate partnership between Wien Energie and Therme Wien in an inspiring and engaging way that would excite the bathers by taking up and transforming the entire space of the staircase. Unfortunately, this concept could not be realised.
All the walls of the stairwell and the underside of the stairs were to be used. The whole world of the climate partnership should be told in an entertaining and playful way. The heat pumps of the Therme Wien and the PV systems on the roof are featured - cityscapes and bathing worlds alternate. These are the sketches and the room concept for the realisation of the redesign of the stairwell. The illustrations were planned as wall design or wallpaper.
